Patrons may pay with post-dated cheques or a credit card.

The following withdrawal policies apply to all community courses without exception. Withdrawals from Community Courses must be made at least TWO WEEKS prior to the class start date for a full refund, minus an administration fee of $25. Withdrawals less than two weeks prior to the class start date or after the first class will receive 50% of the course fee minus a $25 administrative fee. NO refunds will be processed after the 2nd class. Community Courses aim to provide a safe, positive, and welcoming learning environment. The Living Arts Centre reserves the right to refuse admittance to or de-register any person who prevents our ability to provide such an environment. In the event of de-registration, a refund will be issued for all unattended classes.

If you wish to cancel your registration, requests must be received in writing at least TWO WEEKS prior to the first day of camp.  An administration fee of $25 will be charged for each cancellation.  After this period, any cancellation requests must be accompanied by a medical certificate in order to receive a refund.  You will be refunded for unattended days, less a $25 administration fee.  The Living Arts Centre reserves the right to de-register a camper if he or she is deemed to be incompatible with the program.  A refund will be issued for all unattended program days.

All courses are subject to sufficient registration. The Living Arts Centre reserves the right to cancel or combine individual courses if minimum registration is not achieved. A full refund will be issued in the event of a cancellation.

If space is available, patrons may transfer from one course to another that is of equal or more value, as long as the transfer is done 2 weeks before the class begins. A $25 administration fee will be charged.

Children must meet the age requirements of the Course/Camp listed. An exception will be made for children turning of age during the listed session or time of a Community Course/Camp.

In the event that a patron is unable to attend a class, the Living Arts Centre regrets that a makeup class or refund will not be offered.

In the event that the course/camp you have selected is full, you can be placed on a wait list, available online or at the Box Office. Individuals on the wait list will only be notified if space becomes available in the class.

Patrons who have registered for courses that require additional supplies to be purchased may find a supply list online or through the box office, unless otherwise noted.

Participants who have registered for Hot Glass must wear 100% cotton, closed-toe shoes and sunglasses at all times. All other participants must wear closed-toe shoes. Dance participants should check their tickets or phone the box office for more information on suitable clothing/footwear.

All details of special needs must be disclosed at the time of registration.
Please note that we cannot provide a support worker. Registered support workers are admitted to Community Courses and Camps free of charge but must have a Police Clearance Check (for children's classes only). All support workers must register for the course with the box office. The Living Arts Centre is working in partnership with Community Living Mississauga through their Children's Summer Support Program (CSSP) to offer a limited number of spaces to children with intellectual disabilities in our Summer Camps. Please note that these spaces will be filled only with successful applicants to the CSSP. Confirmation of CSSP acceptance and support must be presented prior to registration at the Living Arts Centre.

Note: Courses offered in the Glass Studio and Wood Studio present increased health and safety concerns due to the environment and machinery used. Minimum skill requirements as well as pre-requisites are required for some courses.

Participants must complete, sign and submit a Health and Safety Waiver Form at the beginning of the first class. This will be provided by the instructor or can be found here.
