Our preschool, family and children's courses and workshops are a perfect way to introduce your child to the arts and help them express their creativity.
Please note: * Unless otherwise indicated these courses are 8 weeks in length and include all materials and applicable taxes. * There will be NO classes Oct. 9 & 10, 2010; Mar. 12 & 13, 2011. * Youth Courses: There will be NO classes on Oct. 9, 10 & 11, 2010; Feb. 21, 2011; Mar. 12 to 17, 2011. Family classes are taught by practicing artist-educators. Glass Hands and Feet Workshop Create a glass cast from the imprint of your child's hand or foot in sand and make a timeless memento or unique gift! Together, you will discover the wonders of hot glass as you watch our talented artist-educator's step-by-step process. Class: 1 day Register Today! Children 2 - 10 years. One adult MUST accompany child(ren).
Family Sundays Sunday is family day at the Living Arts Centre! Bring your entire family and experience fun, quality time together! Each week, you'll collaborate on new and exciting visual art projects while exploring a variety of creative themes and materials. New projects every session. Register Today! Children 2 - 12 years. One adult MUST accompany children; $54 per family member.
Jr. Move and Create Move to the music and create! This class will keep you and your child active while emphasizing movement skills, rhythm and body awareness. A variety of music and instruments will be introduced, and each class will offer a chance to create something special to take home. New projects and themes every session. Register Today! Children 2.5 - 3.5 years. A maximum of one adult MUST accompany child(ren).
-NEW!- Family Pottery Get creative with your family and have fun together in our Ceramics Studio! Each week, you'll learn basic techniques in hand-building forms out of clay while sculpting a variety of decorative and functional pottery.
