Age Appropriateness: All ages The CROATIAN RADIO AND TELEVISION TAMBURA ORCHESTRA (TO HRT), founded in Zagreb, Croatia in 1941, has played a pivotal role in the cultural and musical promotion of Tambura music, which has resulted in the recognition of its value both in Croatia and abroad. This professional Orchestra has attracted the best composers, arrangers and performers of both national folk music and original compositions inspired by folklore. While a large portion of the program consists of concert works written specifically for Tambura, recently the Orchestra's repertoire and direction have been expanded to include classical, pop and contemporary easy-listening music.
Since 1985 the Orchestra, which has 18 permanent master musicians, has been performing under the guidance of artistic director Professor Siniša Leopold, conductor and composer, music educator and publicist.

His music and writing reveal a man that we are still unravelling – his complex recording technologies, including overdubbing, was unprecedented. There have been many documentaries about Gould and his eccentricities – focusing on the pills, gloves, and scarves. Described by the New York Post as "fascinating, rewarding and above all, entertaining," and by the Los Angeles Times as "a showpiece extravaganza," 'Lord of the Dance' is a mesmerizing blend of traditional and modern Celtic music and dance. The story is based upon mythical Irish folklore as Don Dorcha, Lord of Darkness, challenges the ethereal lord of light, the 'Lord of the Dance'. Battle lines are drawn, passions ignite and a love story fueld by the dramatic leaps and turns of dancers' bodies begins to build against a backdrop of Celtic rhythm. The action is played out over 21 scenes on a grand scale of precision dancing, dramatic music, colourful costumes and state-of-the-art staging and lighting.

Jamie Adkins is considered one of the world's finest circus clowns, jugglers, balancing artists and acrobats. A member of Cirque du Soliel and Montreal's Cirque Eloize, Jamie incorporates story-telling with his amazing feats that faithfully and humourously convey his experiences. In this production, the audience follows Jamie on an adventure about having the courage to try new ideas, pushing them to their limits, not giving up when all goes wrong and most of all surprising yourself. Because you never know what you can do until you try!
"Though Mr. Adkins' best routines draw oohs and ahs, he is just as successful drawing laughs." - New York Times More Information
