“At first when I wake up in the morning my entire dream is fresh in my mind.  In an instant it escapes me.  It is through the medium of glass that I constantly work to recapture these feelings that are buried deep inside of me.  Using glass allows me to express certain themes that affect me on a personal level.  Looking at my work is more than just seeing the materials; it is me and my intimate thoughts.  My work tells people everything I cannot.”

Kelly first met and fell in love with glass at Sheridan College, in the school’s three year glass blowing program. From there she assisted and received mentoring from a number of different artists in the Hamilton area before striking out on her own.
