Booking Checklist


Before Booking

  • Explore our website and brochure to choose which performance and/or workshops you are interested in.
  • Decide if you would like to travel to the LAC for a half day or full day of programming.
  • Check your school calendar and choose a minimum of two possible dates for your trip that work with your schedule. Keep in mind that we book fieldtrips a minimum of two to three weeks in advance.

Early Bird Offer:
Book your class for a morning workshop between September 17, 2018 and January 31, 2019 and receive $2.00 off per student when you make a day of it and book an afternoon Dance, Drama, Drawing with Wire, Art Story or Art Create and Debate workshop. Book before November 9, 2018 to take advantage of this offer!


How to Start Your Booking

  • Fill out our Online Application Form, or contact our School Sales Representative by calling (905) 306-6009 or emailing school.bookings@livingarts.on.ca

Once You’ve Booked Your Trip

  • Review and sign your Invoice to confirm your trip.
  • Send out permission forms and collect payment. If your group is visiting the Centre for a full day, let your students know they will need to pack a lunch.
  • Plan and book your transportation to and from the Centre. Contact our partner First Student Canada for discounted bussing rates at 1-866-652-4352.
  • Check out our pre and post visit activities on our website

Once You’ve Booked Your Trip

  • Bring either a cheque, credit card, or cash to make payment for your school’s trip.
  • Plan your route to the Centre and see the school drop off and pick up locations at link to map on website (to be added)
  • Upon arriving, confirm your scheduled departure time with the LAC staff.
  • Enjoy your day!

The Gallery at the Living Arts Centre

  • Expose your students to contemporary art in our free onsite gallery! Located on the second floor of the centre, the gallery presents 6-7 group exhibitions per season featuring local, national and international artists.
