Drawing & Art Appreciation

Capacity: K – Grade 3 maximum 30 students per session; Grade 4- 10 maximum 30 students per session | Morning and afternoon sessions available
Cost: $10.00 per student (minimum fee for each workshop is $200.00) | Length 2 hours

ANIMATION & THE STORYBOARD/ ANIMATION ET SCENARIMAGE -NEW!

Explore the fundamentals of the unique art form of classical animation. By creating wild and zany figures and creatures from their own imagination, students will learn basic drawing skills, the principles of character design and techniques to evoke action and expression. Building on character development, students will learn the basics of storyboarding to combine elements of art and storytelling.

ART CREATE & DEBATE
Grades K - 3
Take a journey through our exciting educational art gallery and learn all about the elements of art. Students will have the opportunity to describe, analyze and interpret works of art by local artists in a fun environment designed just for them! Oral communication will be developed while students actively discover the elements of art. After exploring the gallery, practical, hands-on activities in our studio will allow students to create their own works of art to be taken back to school for their own art exhibition.

DRAWING WITH WIRE/ DESSINER AVEC DU FIL METALLIQUE- NEW!
Grades 4 – 10

Learn all about the fundamentals of portraiture and then manipulate them to create a fantastic 3D wire sculpture! In this workshop students will learn about the mathematical proportions of the face and then explore ways they can manipulate those proportions to create unique abstract sculptures.
