Special Needs

If your child has any special needs, details must be disclosed at the time of registration. Please note that we cannot provide one-on-one supervision and may not be able to provide specific medical support. The Living Arts Centre is working in partnership with Community Living Mississauga through their Children’s Summer Support Program (CSSP) to offer a limited number of spaces to children with special needs. Please note that these spaces will be filled only with successful applicants to the CSSP. Confirmation of CSSP acceptance and support must be presented prior to registration at the Living Arts Centre.

Class Size & Instruction

Class sizes are limited to a maximum of 16 campers, except where otherwise noted. Your child’s camp experience is prepared and delivered by a qualified team of Instructors, Assistants and Volunteers. Camp Instructors are artist-educators with teaching experience. Camp Assistants are university or college students, and teen volunteers are interviewed and selected from local high schools.

If you wish to withdraw your registration, requests must be received in writing at least two weeks prior to the first day of camp. An administration fee of $25 will be charged for each withdrawal. After this period, any withdrawal requests must be accompanied by a medical certificate in order to receive a refund. You will be refunded for unattended days, less a $25 administration fee. The Living Arts Centre reserves the right to withdraw a camper if he or she is deemed to be incompatible with the program. A refund will be issued for all unattended program days.

The Living Arts Centre reserves the right to cancel or combine individual courses if minimum registration is not achieved. A full refund will be issued in the event of a cancellation.

Confirmation Packages

Registration either in person or on the phone will be confirmed by mail in the form of a confirmation package containing important information regarding camp programs. Registrations completed online will receive an e-mail confirming their registration, as well as information regarding camp programs.

What to Wear

For all programs, comfortable clothing and running shoes are best. For hands-on art programs, we recommend that children wear something to protect their clothing – art can be messy! Camp aprons are now available for purchase to help protect clothing! Artists’ aprons are made from high quality navy denim fabric and have an adjustable neck strap and a pocket for holding tools. Available in two sizes: Small - $15.00 or Medium/Large - $20.00. To order, please call (905) 306-6000 or email

Please see individual program descriptions for prices. Please note all prices include all materials and applicable taxes.

Families who enroll more than one child (residing at the same household) will receive a 10% discount on each additional child (not available for online registration). Cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion, or group.
