We continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely as it evolves and will be making decisions about LAC summer programs (summer camp and summer adult community courses) with guidance from Public Health authorities and the Province of Ontario.

Explore how master designers create amazing 2D and 3D objects. Campers will use a range of techniques including drawing and illustration, printmaking, and model building to explore the fundamentals of everyday design.
Discover the amazing world of digital photography! Campers will learn the fundamentals of composition and lighting, and experiment with new techniques while developing new skills and refining existing ones. (Basic digital camera is required).
This popular program explores a variety of techniques and artistic media, providing a rich visual arts experience for both beginners and seasoned artists. Enhance your skills with projects ranging from portraiture, acrylic painting, 3D sculpture, and much more. NEW PROJECTS EVERY YEAR! (max 20 participants per session)
This popular musical theatre camp offers young performers the chance to sing, dance and perform on stage in preparation for an exciting final production in one of our professional theatres!
Explore the fundamentals of creating with clay using coil, pinch-pot, slab and other sculpting techniques to create a variety of functional and decorative objects. Campers will also throw clay on the wheel, and apply a variety of glazing and finishing techniques. NEW PROJECTS EVERY YEAR! Clay pieces will be kiln fired, and will be ready for pick up within three weeks of the end of the program.
Do you have a passion for fashion? A creative flare? This program is the perfect way for campers to express themselves by designing their own fashion accessories, textile art and other unique projects in our professional Textile and Fibre Arts Studio. (max 18 participants per session)
Discover how to rock the dance floor in this exciting exploration of digital DJ’ing! Aspiring DJ’s will be introduced to professional mixing software, explore new music styles, and try their hand at beat mixing using a digital DJ platform. On the final day of the program the studio transforms into a dance club, as the newly-skilled DJ’s drop live beats and create custom visual effects for friends and family to enjoy.
Budding directors, screenwriters, and cinematographers will learn the fundamentals of filmmaking, including script development, storyboards, lighting and sound while creating a short film. A premiere screening for family and friends will be held in our film theatre on the last day of the program.
