ARTward Bound 

The Living Arts Centre’s ARTward Bound Community Outreach Program will be hitting the road again this summer bringing FREE visual and performing arts to communities across Mississauga!

Join us as we bring free family-friendly visual arts activities to the following community festivals:

Malton Canada Day Festival
July 1 (2:00pm - 8:00pm), Westwood Square (7205 Goreway Rd)

July & August Events

Join us for arts filled days during July and August! Create one-of-a-kind artworks while experimenting with paint, sculpture and mixed media. Learn some new moves in our upbeat Hip-Hop workshops (select venues only) and enjoy an interactive live performance! A free lunch prepared by Eden Food for Change will also be provided at select venues.

This program is recommended for children ages 5 to 12 and participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. No pre-registration required; drop-in for part of the program or stay for the full day!

Tribal Vision Dance

Tribal Vision Dance is a family dance troupe from the Six Nations of the Grand River Territory. The group is comprised of champion singers and dancers with a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with young audiences and families to build a deeper understanding and appreciation of First Nations culture.

Visual Arts Projects

Explore the wonders of the visual arts with the Centre’s Outreach team. Participants will create one-of-a-kind artworks in painting, sculpture, mixed media and more. Projects will encourage creativity while working with a variety of techniques and materials.
