The Living Arts Centre will once again be buzzing with FREE family-friendly programming, including make-and-take crafts, performances, and much, much more!

Dog Man: The Musical | 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM | Hammerson Hall
Don’t miss this hilarious new production based on the worldwide bestselling series by Dav Pilkey, the creator of Captain Underpants! Introducing Dog Man, the crime-biting sensation who is part dog, part man, and ALL HERO! While trying his best to be a good boy, can he save the city from Flippy the cyborg fish? Can he catch Petey, the world’s most evil cat? You’ll have to find out!

Lynn Torrie Bio
Lynn comes from a family of teachers, where language skills were highly valued. She grew up loving the drama club, the creative writing club and, of course, the library.
She brought her imagination to her work in special education, where she worked as an occupational therapist and consultant.
Lynn has been a professional storyteller since 2013, telling in schools and daycares, libraries and cafes, churches and markets. She has been heard at the Toronto Storytelling Festival , The Word on the Street, StoryFusion Cabaret and the Ottawa Storytellers’ “Signature Series”. She has been interviewed on CBC and featured on Regent Park radio.
She teaches storytelling to beginner and intermediate storytellers through Storytelling Toronto.

Come cheer on a talented line-up of families in this friendly competition set to take place on the big stage in Hammerson Hall.
This year, we are pleased to welcome Heather Christine, Alex Pollard and Matt Zaddy as our judges who will have the difficult task to select our talent show winner.
