“All through my life I have felt a desire to create art and work with my hands. It wasn’t until I found glass blowing that I realized my true passion. The natural fluidity and optics of the glass have allowed me to explore new methods of expression unique to this craft. I seek to explore, understand and master all aspects and techniques of glass blowing. Glass has become the voice through which I speak to the world.”

Tobias Moriarty is an emerging glass artist currently working and residing in Burlington/Hamilton, Ontario. After studying ceramics at the Halliburton School of the Arts and Fleming College, Tobias shifted focus onto blown glass and immediately fell in love with the medium. Tobias has since completed a full-time apprenticeship with Rodrigue Glass and participated in multiple exhibitions to showcase his work. He primarily focuses on utilitarian products and household decorative art pieces.
