Unforgettable: The Nat King Cole Story

A salute to the 100th anniversary of the great American pop/jazz singer, Nat King Cole, and his iconic hits Mona Lisa, Nature Boy and, of course, Unforgettable - featuring Thom Allison and Alana Bridgewater, stars of Canadian stage and television, the internationally acclaimed Elora Singers under their new conductor Mark Vuorinen, and a five-member band featuring some of Toronto’s finest jazz players, with script and staging by Richard Ouzounian and music direction by David Warrack.

Unforgettable follows Nat King Cole through his phenomenal life journey. The son of an Alabama preacher, the jazz pianist who becomes a worldwide singing sensation, the first performer of color to star in his own TV program; Nat King Cole was a beloved superstar whose appeal transcended the boundaries of race, culture, and geography. As the most recognizable American voice since Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole won the love of millions with his musical prowess and down-to-earth personality.
